LOVE & MERCY-fest is a music and art project with a purpose, where the profits go to work on mental health.

The festival started in 2025, initiated by artist Torgeir Waldemar and psycologist/festival manager Marit Soldal. Through his work as an artist, Waldemar has been concerned with the challenges of loneliness, isolation, suicide, shame, and feeling like an outsider. It is about standing up for values that take care of everyone, no matter who you are. This is the sum of it. This is where they meet, musicians and artists, in new and old constellations. The art. The community. Each other. In celebration. A celebration that ties together the stage, the room, the audience, and everyone involved.

All profits go directly to Mental Helse, which works precisely with this: that we must talk more about mental health and take care of one another.
